Please join us this Sunday!

Children

At Temple Baptist Church our desire is to partner with parents to build a gospel-centered spiritual formation for their children's lives. Focusing weekly lessons on foundational Biblical truths, we teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to the next generation who God is and what He has done.

Nursery

Nursery is provided for every Sunday church service & Sunday School, as well as Wednesday night prayer meeting. The Nursery is for infants through 4 years old and is located in our South Building downstairs. As you enter the building there will be signs leading you.

Our nursery staff and volunteers care for and teach your little ones about the Lord through song and dance. Each service your child will be put into their age-appropriate room, enjoy fun, fellowship, and receive a small snack while they hear teaching from Scripture. Our Nursery Director is Melissa Parks, get to know her HERE .

.

Security: If you are visiting for the first time, you will need to fill out a registration card to receive a security pager. If we need you for any reason during the service, we will page you. You must also present your pager before we will release your child from our care. During the church services, the doors to the South Building will be locked. If you need to pick up your children early from the service, simply ring the doorbell.

Safety: We require all of our volunteers to be trained and screened before helping in any part of our children’s ministry. We also maintain a strict teacher-to-child ratio to ensure safe care. For health standards, children must be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease fro 24 hours. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or medical conditions.

Special Needs: If you have a child with special needs, we would love to partner with you in ministering to your child. Please contact our church office for more information.

Family Resources: Each Sunday, your child will take home a sheet that corresponds with the lesson that they learned. This sheet will help you review the Bible story with your child and help them to apply the lessons they have learned at home.

Sunday Morning Bible Studies

Each Sunday morning from 9:45am – 10:45am your child can participate in a Bible Study class geared for their age and understanding. We have dedicated Bible Study teachers that will teach your child the Word of God faithfully every week. Bible Study classrooms are found in our South Building in our Nursery as well as upstairs in “Kidsville”. The Nursery offers classes for 2-3 year olds, as well as 4 year olds. And classrooms for Kindergarten – 5th grade are found upstairs.

Children’s Church

“KidsConnect” Morning Worship is a fun & exciting worship experience for children 5 years old through 2nd grade. We offer KidsConnect every Sunday morning during our 11am Contemporary Service. KidsConnect meets upstairs in “Kidsville” in our South Building. Our Children’s Director is Melissa Parks, get to know her HERE.

While you are in the Contemporary Worship Service, your child will be taught the truth of Scripture and there is an emphasis on learning to connect to the truth of God’s Word in a fun, relevant way! Children experience worship through song, creative teaching, prayer, and fun games designed to help them draw closer to God and understand His importance in their lives!

Music and Missions

On Sunday evenings at 5pm we offer Music & Missions (M&M’s) for children ages Kindergarten through 5th grade. In M&M’s children learn worship songs that they are able to perform during an occasional church worship service. They also learn about global and local missions and have several projects that they participate in throughout the year.

Pioneer Club

Pioneer Club is on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:45pm for all children ages Kindergarten through 5th grade. Pioneer club offers a great experience for your child, helping them to learn to know God through great music, scripture memorization, Bible study, fun games, and skills.  We offer Pioneer club during the school year and have an awards ceremony at the end of the year where children earn their Bible awards and skill badges.
